Christmas video card ideas with a little more personality
Four festive template ideas, simple greeting formats and an honest guide to one-person versus family videos.

A Christmas video card can be a short, personal gesture instead of a long production. Start with a clear photo and choose a scene that fits the recipient: a playful elf for friends, a Santa shuffle for the family group chat or a dancing pet for someone who already knows your animal's personality.
Four ways to make it festive
Christmas Elf Jig puts a person in a warm workshop and a green elf costume. It is a good starting point for a lighthearted greeting with one recognizable face. See the elf example.
Santa Shuffle uses a red Santa outfit beside a tree and fireplace. Add a short message after downloading, such as a personal greeting or a party date. Avoid implying a real person performed the clip. See Santa Shuffle.
Ugly Sweater Party is suited to an invitation or friendly joke. Get permission before using a coworker's picture, especially if the result will be shared beyond a private group. Try the sweater template.
Jingle Paws gives a dog or cat a festive moment beside the presents. It is an AI fantasy, not a reason to dress or position a real pet uncomfortably. See Jingle Paws.
Make a family greeting from separate clips
The current templates support one subject per video. They do not reliably turn an entire group photo into a synchronized elf dance. Create separate authorized clips, download them and combine them in a video editor. This also lets each person choose a different character.
A single clip targets 15 seconds. For a combined greeting, trim each person's segment to keep the message concise. Add a title or names in an editor; the generator does not have a text-overlay tool.
Music and sharing
The generated video includes original AI audio. It does not come with a license for popular holiday recordings. If you replace the soundtrack, use music you may share on your chosen platform.
Send the downloaded MP4 rather than a private generation link when possible. Private result links can give access to the result; keep them out of public comments. Review faces, movement and the final greeting before sending.
Budget before starting
One guest video is $4.99; account generations use 25 credits each. Packs cover multiple clips, while monthly plans renew until cancelled. Compare prices and read the refund policy before creating several family videos.
